Our Land: Prairie Hills
Ranch is located at the top of an ancient glacial moraine that
early French trappers called Couteau de Prairie (Hills of the Prairie).
The beautiful rolling landscape holds a bevy of treeless draws and
ravines that attract and hold a variety of upland game birds.
We’re constantly studying and applying the latest
university research to manage our ground for pheasant propagation. Our
shelterbelts, food plots, slough bottoms and grass uplands combine to
create the perfect year-round habitat for wild pheasant populations.
